Every year, parents give to the Rancho Romero Education Fund Annual fund at the beginning of the school year to close the gap between public funding from SRVUSD and the funding needed to make Rancho Romero thrive.

State and Federal funding from SRVUSD isn’t sufficient to adequately fund the full, engaging and well-rounded curriculum that parents want and all our students deserve. Parcel taxes go a long way, but a gap remains. RREF fundraising is how we as parents can close that gap.
In the 2024-25 school year, your child will get access to these RREF funded programs and support
5,500 Teaching Hours Supported (Paraprofessionals in the classroom)
Reading Intervention Specialists on staff 5 days/week
Math Support (intervention & extension) 2.5 days/week
Music Instruction weekly for every student on campus
Library sessions for every class every week
Noontime Sports 4 days/week
And more!
Last year, we were able to fund 8.5 hrs/week/class of classroom paraprofessional aides, a music program for all grades, reading intervention, math specialists, additional library hours, noontime sports, 6 new Smart Boards for classrooms, and instructional assistant time supporting our Rancho staff, allowing for more small group work in the classrooms.
